IF IT DOESN’T HURT THEN ITS NOT LOVE
Love is an intense emotion and bond for one another or a strong feeling of affection and concern toward another person.
Why do we fall in love?
Falling in love is a natural reaction or experience that occurs to you, according to Hani Henry, chair and associate professor of psychology in department of sociology, Anthropology, Psychology and Egyptology at AUC, Robert sternberg’s psychological theory covers, the most common reasons why we fall in love: which are, intimacy, passion and commitment. Here are five reasons why we fall in love, 1.Compatibility Compatibility is not about the physical but psychological aspects with extreme connection and understanding for each other. When couples share similar interests and values, it means there’s love and compassion for each other. 2.Connection Naturally as humans; we are born with deep attachment for one another. Your first connection for most people was the love for mothers while growing up as a child and when both parties are deeply connected they might fall in love with each other. 3.Attention Attention is also a leading contributor and factors when two-people fall in love with each other. Most time it might not be physical but emotional and sexual. Some people may get attracted to shared interests, resources, status, or intellect too. However, if the attraction becomes the major reason asides bonding or intimacy, our emotion can be considered infatuation. This means you are attracted but do not actually know more about the person. True love is a combination of attraction plus closeness, which usually develops over time. 4.Agape In Christianity, agape love is the best form of love either for charity or mother and child bond. It is also the love for God and God’s love for man. That is in contrast to philia, brotherly love, or philautia, self-love, as it embraces a deep and profound sacrificial love that transcends and persists regardless of circumstance. 5.Communication Communication is key and it’s a powerful way to create good energies between one another and it feels absolutely good when communicating to each other and can lead to other aspects such as: sense of humor that can ease severe anxiety or tension and shyness.
